الإتـزان هـو الإنسجـام والإتسـاق والتوافق بين أبعاد الحياة المختلفة من أجل حياة أفضل، مثل إتزان الشخصية "وكان يسوع يتقدم فى الحكمة والنعمة والقامة عند الله والناس" (لو 52:2) وإتزان السلوك وإتزان الإتجاهات.

1- الإلتصاق بالمسيح فهذا يعطـى إستنـارة إلهيـة - سمواً للدوافع - طبيعةً جديدة.
2- تربية الإفرازفهذا يساعدنا على..
أ- التمييز بين الصواب والخطأ.
ب- الإنتقاء الجيد للأمور التى تبنى حياتنا.
ج- عدم التطرف فى الفضيلة يميناً أو يساراً "امتحنوا كل شئ وتمسكوا بالحسن" (1تس 21:5).
3- الإسترشاد والخبرةالحاجة إلى المرجعية والإستفادة من خبرات الآخرين.
4- الرؤية الشاملة أى أن يكون الإنسان متعدد الزوايا والإهتمامات، وليس ذا أفق ضيق، ورؤية أحادية للأمور. وذلك يتم عن طريق :
أ- توسيع نطاق المعرفة وتنويعها.
ب- مرونة الشخصية.
5- مهارة التنسيق أى القدرة علـى التنسيـق بيـن توزيع الوقت، وتوزيع الجهد المبذول وتوزيع الإتصالات... الخ.
